Linapacan

Linapacan is a small and undeveloped island municipality in the province of Palawan in the Philippines. It is located between El Nido and Coron, and is considered one of the most unspoiled and peaceful destinations in the area.

Linapacan is known for its incredibly clear waters – in fact, the area has been described as having some of the clearest sea water in the world. The many small islands that make up the municipality are surrounded by white sandy beaches, coral reefs and turquoise lagoons, often completely devoid of tourists. This makes it ideal for snorkeling, kayaking and island hopping in a more private and tranquil atmosphere.

Unlike more famous destinations, Linapacan has very little commercial development. Here you will find simple accommodations and small communities where life goes on at a leisurely pace. The locals make their living mainly from fishing, and visitors get a more authentic insight into Philippine island life.
